Get involved in MADA’s Food Drive by entering our 1st Food Drive Art Contest. Show us an interpretation of your dream or image of “A World Without Hunger”, through painting, drawing or photography. Budding artists, professional, young and old will all find a place in a category suited for you. Work through your schools or workshops at MADA, or in the comfort of your home.
As our skilled judges narrow down the contestants within each category, the art will be framed and displayed for auction at the Gala Vernissage. All proceeds raised from the art work, will be donated to help cover the costs of feeding people at the MADA Food Bank.
- Blossoms: Grades K -2
- Elementary: Grades 3-6
- High School & CEGEP
- Adult: Age 19 & older

CONTESTANT CATEGORIES
ENTRY RULES
1) All contestants must submit an entry form
2) All children under 18 must have a signed consent entry form
3) Artwork should conform to the following format:
- painting
- drawing
- pastels
- coloring (for blossoms)
- photography
- Entries on all reasonable materials accepted but canvases are encouraged
- All entries become property of the MADA Community Center and may be used for future projects
4) All entries must be submitted by April 23, 2010
5) Artwork with entry/consent forms can be submitted to participating schools,

Open Art Workshops will be held at MADA, where people of all ages can take part in learning about or preparing artwork in conjunction with the MADA Food Drive 2010 Art Contest. Tours of MADA will be given, to add inspiration and awareness to Montreal’s blooming artists of young and old.
